450

1 (3-3-2) 4 Chase Sexton Ultra consistent riding for Sexton. Slowish start to race 1 but about halfway through found the pace to pass Hunter and Roczen. Quickly made some moves to get into 3rd in race 2 where he was able to hold off a charging Tomac. In Race 3, it was evident pretty early on that he didn't need to beat Tomac; smooth race from there on out to seal the deal. Chase was fast all night and was able to pick up the pace to match Tomac when needed.
2 (1-5-3) 2 Cooper Webb That 1st race was impressive for Webb: he nailed his lines and held off Jett. In Race 2 he couldn't hold off Beast Mode (Eli Tomac caught and passed him pretty easily), but he charged through the pack nonetheless to an impressive 5th. Race 3 was kinda boring for him... by the time he was in 3rd he couldn't catchup to Sexton. Overall, this is the best Webb we've seen so far this season.
3 (4-1-5) 94 Ken Roczen Roczen was one of the first 450 riders to bust out the MASSIVE triple at the end of the middle rhythm; it was amazing to watch. In Race 1 he got a mid-pack start and was battling back and forth with Sexton for a bit before settling for 4th. The holeshot in Race 2 turned things around a bit for him: that was probably the best we've seen Roczen ride since joining Suzuki. He kept Jett at bay, but more surprisingly was able to pick up the pace towards the end when Tomac reeled in the top 3; for Kenny, holding off those 3 behind him is a big feat. However, in Race 3 he got a mid-pack start and lost some of his luster; was stuck behind Barcia and battling with Hill, but finally made the move to secure an overall podium. Good night in total, but unfortunately will lose the red plate to Sexton.
4 (6-4-1) 3 Eli Tomac Another night of "what-could-have-been" for Eli. He had an amazing charge through the pack in Race 1 after starting ~20th. He somehow outdid himself for Race 2: once again he came from ~20th and caught all the way up to the lead group in about 6 minutes... multiple seconds per lap; unreal. Finally, well-deserved win in Race 3 after a good start and passing Sexton for the lead, but the two bad starts cost him the win (and even a podium) for the overall.
5 (5-9-4) 96 Hunter Lawrence Hunter got good starts but just didn't have the pace tonight. He got shuffled back in all 3 races, particularly in Race 2. He needs to find some more speed if he wants to contend for podiums.
6 (8-10-7) 46 Justin Hill Flashy Hilly is back! He was racing in the top 10 all night and looked like he belonged up there. In the first two races he started outside the top 10 and made some passes (over factory guys to boot). In Race 3 he was battling with Roczen for a large part of the race.
7 (11-6-8) 21 Jason Anderson Expected more from Anderson at his "home-town" race that he normally does quite well at. He got passed by Hill in Race 1 after a so-so start, got dropped in Race 2 after a good start, and then got passed by a few riders (including Hill again) in Race 3 after starting in the top 5; getting passed by Hill allowed Hill to beat him in the Overall. Not a good night.
8 (2-2-21) 1 Jett Lawrence Jett was patient and consistent in the first 2 races despite not the best of starts. As always, he was one of the fastest and could seemingly catch riders at will (he just couldn't pass Webb or Roczen for the wins). Then came another bad start in Race 3 which resulted in a potential knee injury... let's hope he's okay.
9 (10-7-9) 7 Aaron Plessinger A quiet night for AP. Horrible start outside the top 20 in Race 1 but had a good come-back ride to get inside the top 10. Then mid-pack starts for the rest of the night and kinda just stayed in that 7th-10th range. Still awaiting some flashes of speed (and good starts) like we saw last year.
10 (7-11-11) 27 Malcolm Stewart Stewart got some good starts and was looking fast to start the first two races, but couldn't hold the pace and dropped quite far back. In Race 3 he was inside the top 10 before a crash; made a few passes after that to come back to 11th.
11 (9-8-12) 14 Dylan Ferrandis This was the most we've seen Ferrandis "near" the front all season. However, he just didn't have the pace to contend. He started in the top 5 in Races 1 and 2 before shuffling back. In Race 3 he was battling around that top 10 mark but got passed by Justin Cooper and Stewart.
12 (12-12-6) 51 Justin Barcia Barcia was dead last in Race 1, so I guess coming back to 12th is decent. Much better start in Race 2, but got passed by Hill and moved back to 12th for the same result. He finally in Race 3 got a good start and in the top 5 for most of it before Roczen eventually got by. Up-and-down night for him, but the 6th to end it was somewhat promising.
13 (13-13-10) 32 Justin Cooper Bad starts outside the top 15 in all races and he couldn't move through the pack that much. Disappointing night for him.
14 (14-15-13) 12 Shane McElrath Consisent mid-pack starts all night and found himself moving back to around 14th place. He beat his teammate and was the 3rd best non-factory guy Overall. Not bad, not great... he only has a few more races with the team to try to secure a full-time deal for the rest of the season; I imagine he wants better results.
15 (17-14-14) 17 Joey Savatgy Savatgy looked strong inside the top 10 to start Race 1 but had a crash in the sand section; he just stayed in 17th after that and didn't show much speed for the rest of the night. He had an awful start in Race 2, but crawled through the pack and made a last lap pass on his teammate (McElrath). In Race 3 he just rode in 14th the whole time.
16 (16-16-15) 45 Colt Nichols So-so starts all evening. If he started better than 16th, he would shuffle back to 16th. If he started worse, he moved up to 16th. Colt had a scary crash in practice and is lucky to leave Glendale healthy.
17 (15-17-17) 49 Mitchell Oldenburg Oldenburg is the top Beta guy tonight! He started around 14th in the first two and then got shuffled back a bit. In Race 3 he had a bad start outside the top 20 and made some moves. 17th is around where you expect him to be most nights.
18 (18-18-18) 11 Kyle Chisholm Ultra consisent. Started 19th, 17th, and 19th to finish 18th, 18th, and 18th. He's happy to be riding and relatively healthy after a tough crash at A2.
19 (21-20-16) 57 Benny Bloss Bike problems led to two DNFs in the first 2 races. He rebounded alright in Race 3 where he beat his teammate Oldenburg.
20 (19-19-19) 72 Anthony Rodriguez Good job making the mains for Rodriguez! It's his first main event of the year. He got lapped in all three races but looked relatively fast all day.
21 (20-21-20) 78 Cade Clason Clason DNFed Race 2 and got lapped in the other races. It's his second main event of the year (he barely made it in with a last lap pass in the LCQ). He's better than this... but it's a super tough field.
22 (22-22-22) 86 Mitchell Harrison First main event of the year for Harrison after a tough crash in SD that forced him out for the night. He seems to be all healed up now, but DNFed Race 1 and then didn't start the remaining races... not sure what happened. At least PRMX got 2 riders in the main events!

250

1 (2-3-1) 19 Jordon Smith First win for Triumph! Good starts all night and consistent races got the job done. He pressured Davies for all of Race 1. In Race 2, he was too far back by the time he got up to 3rd but was slowly making up time. But it was the good start and near perfect execution of Race 3 that sealed the deal for him and the team. Big congrats! Smith was fast all day (and has been all season).
2 (3-2-4) 38 Haiden Deegan I expected more from Deegan tonight. He was catching up to 2nd in Race 1 before a small crash in the whoops (been a problem for him this year). He got off to a better start in Race 2 but surprisingly couldn't match the pace of his teammate Davies in front of him. The Overall was still in his grasp, but after a bad start in Race 3 he had to settle for 2nd Overall (he also didn't look that fast / flashy coming through the pack). Overall, an off-night for Deegan, but consisent finishes will at least allow him to make up some ground in the points standings.
3 (1-1-8) 100 Cole Davies Wow wow wow. This kid is unbelievably fast, smooth, and calm. He won the first two races by leading start-to-finish and simply being the best / fastest guy on the track. Unfortunately, a bad start ruined his chances of the overall victory when a tough block was kicked-out in front of him on the opening lap and he crashed. He still managed a good ride to get up to 8th which secured an overall podium.
4 (4-7-2) 23 Julien Beaumer Beaumer could have won the overall... but after holeshotting the first 2 races he crashed on the first lap! Good rides from dead last (and impressively hucking the massive triple out of the middle rhythm), but those crashes ruined him. In Race 3 he kept it on two wheels and caught up to Smith but couldn't make the move. Luckily, he still has the points lead!
5 (6-4-3) 93 Michael Mosiman This is the best we've seen Mosiman in a long time! He was battling Deegan in 4th before crashing and dropping down a couple spots in Race 1. Then in Race 2 he passed Deegan on the 2nd lap; Deegan passed him back, and Smith eventually got him too. In Race 3, he holeshot and led for the opening laps before getting passed by Smith and Beaumer. He had speed all night... and running up front will be good for him. After so many injuries, his racing tonight must feel like a win.
6 (5-10-6) 36 Garrett Marchbanks Marchbanks was quiet all day and night... just a bit off the pace. He was 6th best all night... was riding in 6th before Mosiman crashed in Race 1. In Race 2 he was up in 6th before crashing and working his way back to a top 10. He got a bad start in Race 3, but passed his way through the pack up to 6th. He's dealing with a shoulder injury that could have been a lot worse, so it's nice just to see him back racing
7 (14-5-7) 52 Anthony Bourdon Bourdon is silently getting better and better. He got caught up in that first lap crash in Race 1 and came around the finish line that first lap in 20th... decent ride through the pack after that. In Race 2 is where things got impressive: he was battling with Shimoda, but ultimately passed him and got a top 5! He backed that up with another good ride to finish 7th in Race 3 after a top 5 start. Overall, Bourdon is proving to be one of the best non-factory riders.
8 (9-8-9) 37 Coty Schock After racing within the top 5 the past few weekends, a bit of a regression for Schock in Glendale. In Race 1 he crashed while 6th and lost a few spots. He got a bad start in Race 2 and worked his way up to 8th. In Race 3, he got a good start within the top 5 but then crashed..
9 (7-11-11) 302 Parker Ross In a rookie-heavy field, Ross is proving to be the next best rookie (second only to Davies). He took advantage of a big pile-up in the first race to start inside the top 5 before getting shuffled back a bit; 7th is impressive nonetheless. A bad start in Race 2 put him in 14th, but he moved his way forward to 10th before losing a spot on the last lap to a charging Marchbanks. Finally, a good start in Race 3 looked promising but then he crased on the last lap and lost two spots; bummer, but it didn't change his overall finish... top 10 is excellent!
10 (21-6-5) 30 Jo Shimoda Poor Jo can't catch a break. He had a good start in Race 1 but got caught up in the first lap pileup caused by Beaumer. He then went down an entire lap in lap 2 after either another crash or pitstop (presumably to adjust the bike after the pileup?). Things got better with solid starts and consistent laps in the remaining races, but the damage was already done and 10th Overall was all he could salvage. Hopefully a couple weekends off will provide enough time for his fingers to heal up! Regardless, it feels like his championship hopes are over; if his fingers need surgery, now might be the time to get it done.
11 (8-14-12) 65 Lux Turner Turner had to go the LCQ but after that continued his solid and impressive start to the season. He avoided the first lap carnage to get 8th in Race 1, which set himself up well for the Overall. Race 2 was just okay with a mid-pack start and staying there, but then in Race 3 he passed up to 12th after a bad start.
12 (11-12-14) 91 Tj Albright Albright is solidfying himself as a main event guy this year. He avoided the chaos of Race 1 lap 1: started in 12th and essentially stayed there. He got a good start in Race 2 inside the top 12 but then was shuffled back a bit. Anothe top 10 start in Race 3 before again getting shuffled back a bit. Overall, consistent good finishes!
13 (17-13-13) 35 Marshal Weltin Weltin dropped down to the 250 class for the Triple Crown and it was a good decision! He was dead last lap 1 in the opening race after getting caught in the pile-up, but worked his way forward. He got shuffled back right way in Race 2 after starting in the top 10, but rebounded and a few passes back. Then in Race 3 he charged hard at the end to make up a few spots after a bad start. I wonder if he will stay in the 250 class?
14 (13-9-21) 63 Hunter Yoder Yoder was top 10 in Race 1 before crashing and slowly coming up to 13th. The 9th in Race 2 is more so where he belongs: he started roughly there and stayed there the whole race. In Race 3 things got worse again with 2 crashes; he finished the race but was too far back. Should have been a better overall finish for Yoder (he could have been top 10 without the crashes).
15 (15-16-15) 101 Dylan Walsh In Race 1, Walsh was part of the first lap pile-up, got up in 15th, and stayed in 15th. Midpack start in Race 2 but dropped back and just didn't have the pace; same story for Race 3. I expect him to get faster as he gets more experience in these mains after missing all of last year.
16 (12-18-16) 67 Joshua Varize Varize also got caught up in the Race 1 pileup, but was one of the first riders to escape from it and he held on for a strong 12th (he set some fast laps too). In the remaining races he got bad starts and couldn't quite find that same speed.
17 (22-15-10) 58 Derek Kelley First main event of the year for Kelley after missing the opening two rounds with a A1 qualifying crash, and then crashing in the LCQ at A2. He got caught up in the Race 1 pileup, and then crashed twice to finish dead last (kudos for still finishing the race though). He got a bad start in Race 2 with last gate pick and took a while to get going. Race 3 is more of what he's looking for: a solid start and a top 10 finish. I expect him to get a lot better moving forward.
18 (10-20-17) 54 Jett Reynolds Reynold had a good top 10 in the opening race (after dodging the first lap pileup) but things went downhill after that. He got a bad start in Race 2, was looking stagnant in 16th, and then crashed. In Race 3 he started 14th and faded back. He has been sick the past few weeks, so a couple weekends off will be much appreciated.
19 (18-17-18) 61 Cole Thompson Not a good night for Thompson. First turn pileup in Race 1 and faded a bit afterwards. He followed that up with a dead last start in Race 2, and then another fade after a 15th place start in Race 3. Apprently he has also been sick recently... Cole belongs further up.
20 (16-19-20) 334 Brad West I'm glad West is okay after a tough crash in the heat at A2 which took him out for the night. In Race 1 he was another victim of the first turn pileup; he got up in 16th and stayed there. He was in the top 15 in Race 12 before crashing... He also crashed in Race 3 (on the opening lap) and that was that.
21 (20-21-19) 132 Billy Laninovich Laninovich is happy with just making the mains right? Really cool to see him riding well in the LCQ and qualifying. From that point forth, it's just about enjoying the mains. He avoided the pileup in Race 1 and was 13th before crashing himself and moving back. The remaining races were bad starts and staying in the back of the field.
22 (19-22-22) 115 Gavin Towers Towers crashed in Race 1 but finished the race. He didn't start the remaining races... he was hurt and wanted to play it safe.
