1 47 Levi Kitchen Well, should have been a 2nd, but Kitchen took advantage of the restart and put down some heaters to pass Anstie and get the win. Prior to that, he just didn't have the pace that Anstie had; he said in the post-race press conference this doesn't feel like a real win. Overall, great rebound from Tampa.
2 31 Max Anstie Max had the fastest lap of the night and seemed to easily gap Kitchen behind him... no doubt the fastest guy tonight. He got screwed by the restart, but he handled it with class. So far, Anstie seems like the guy to beat in this class... almost a perfect race for him.
3 24 RJ Hampshire Hampshire just didn't have the speed tonight and mentioned he didn't feel great on the track all day; he would have liked to have been able to battle with the two in front of him. He made one mistake and dropped back to 4th at one point, but passed Vialle back to solidify the podium. It's a promising rebound from a bad result in Tampa... he expects to be a lot better come Daytona.
4 1 Tom Vialle Vialle hasn't shown much to the start year, but about midway through that race he started clicking off some 49 second lap times and was catching Hampshire. Hampshire eventually made a mistake and he got by, but then a few bad laps allowed Hampshire back by; 3rd was a possiblity tonight but he couldn't capitalize.
5 41 Nate Thrasher Top 5 and a heat race win is good for some broken fingers! And better than last weekend in Tampa. He was battling ahead of McAdoo for most of that race before McAdoo got by... then McAdoo crashed and Thrasher got the spot back.
6 10 Chance Hymas Hymas got a mid pack start and was kinda riding by himself for a while, but then he caught up to and passed Forkner and Mumford. Another solid ride for him as he looks to build up to race-pace.
7 83 Austin Forkner Top 10 start but Forkner couldn't work his way through the pack. Instead he dropped a bit and allowed Hymas to get around. Cullin Park got around him once again after the restart, but this time Forkner returned the favor (from last weekend) and aggressively passed Park back. We haven't seen much from Forkner so far... he had a somewhat scary crash in qualifying too; just glad he's healthy, but it's been disappointing both speed-wise and results-wise.
8 60 Carson Mumford Mumford started up front (top 3) and stayed in the top 5 until about the halfway mark and then he lost the pace... badly: he dropped all the way to 10th before McAdoo's crash.
9 92 Maximus Vohland Vohland had a bad start (16th) and then slowly worked his way up. I want to see what he can do with a good start (and without bike problems).
10 55 Henry Miller Miller had a crash in practice and looked to be kinda hurt, so anything after that is a positive. He had a horrible start (19th), but had an impressive ride to come through the pack after that... he kept inching his way forward every lap.
11 59 Cullin Park Park had another top 10 locked down! He had passed Mumford to get up into 9th before McAdoo's crash, and then passed Forkner and was in 7th before Forkner took him out on the last lap and he dropped back to this spot.
12 87 Hardy Munoz Is Hardy for real this year? He had a tough start to the day with 3 crashes (that I saw) in qualifying... a couple of them were bad too. However, he somehow turned it around and is the best placing full privateer once again. This is a family effort... he's not on a team so it's super impressive. He started 18th, passed a few guys, and took advantage of some crashes to one-up his result from last weekend.
13 89 Trevor Colip Colip had a bad start and was outside the top 20 to start. He passed Chambers, Locurcio, and Fineis to move up to this spot (also taking advantage of some crashes and misfortunes for others). He tried to pass Munoz after the restart but couldn't make it work. Overall, improvement from last weekend.
14 75 Gage Linville Linville got a mid-pack start and was in 13th before he crashed and dropped back to 17th. He had the speed to benefit more off the restart but only got around Chambers.
15 192 Jack Chambers Chambers started in 17th and dropped back before passing a few guys who crashed. He got passed by Linville after the restart, otherwise probably would have been 14th for him.
16 74 Lorenzo Locurcio Locurcio looked a lot better than last weekend made the main straight from the heat! He got a bad start in the main and didn't have the pace to move forward much.
17 56 Seth Hammaker Hammaker was feeling very sick (stomach bug or food poisoning after lunch as per Kellen Brauer) and faded BADLY. He started in the top 10 and dropped all the way back without a crash.
18 62 Mark Fineis Fineis qualified 40th just making it into the heats, and then got the last spot in the LCQ, so making the main itself was a feat. He got a good start just outside the top 10 but then was shuffled back... his pace way way off. He crashed after the restart when he was in 16th.
19 73 Preston Boespflug Preston was in 13th to start the race before crashing all the way back to dead last. He was a lap down so couldn't benefit from the restart (he also was really hard to pass whilst being lapped).
20 137 Ayden Shive Shive started last and was rolling around for the whole main basically. Congrats on making the main though!
21 682 Izaih Clark Clark was looking good battling in 15th before tangling with another rider and crashing relatively early on; he dropped all the way to dead last and was multiple laps back. He finished the race though!
22 50 Cameron Mcadoo Poor McAdoo, poor Pro Circuit. He was looking good, moved up to 4th, but then had a small tip over. He got up in 7th and had just made the pass on Thrasher for 5th before crashing out. He was bleeding heavily... glad to see he's relatively okay; scary crash.

1 2 Cooper Webb Textbook classic Cooper Webb race win: passing Ken Roczen late in the race. Webb had a slower best lap than Kenny, but held that pace for longer and was consistently doing sub-50 second lap times all race. He's now tied for the points lead and looking dangerous.
2 94 Ken Roczen Roczen seemed surprisingly okay with this result despite leading most of the race and geting passed right near the end. He was fast all day and it's a good rebound from Tampa.
3 4 Chase Sexton Sexton made another mistake, this time off the gate resulting in him being dead last to start. He put down the fastest lap time charging through the pack in an awesome ride that he said reminded him of his comeback ride in Hangtown last year. 22nd to 3rd is super impressive; he had to pass most guys twice (when you account for the lappers)!
4 27 Malcolm Stewart Not as flashy as last weekend, but also not fully back to the old Malcolm? His whoop speed wasn't as good but a solid top 5 finish is decent. He started top 5, but took too long to get around Plessinger. Sexton also caught and passed him like he was standing still (as Sexton did with 20 other riders). It should have been a 5th for Stewart but Anderson crashed late in the race and gifted him a spot.
5 32 Justin Cooper Started 7th, passed Ferrandis, and then was pressuring Malcolm for most of the race. He's still looking bad in the whoops...
6 21 Jason Anderson Anderson looked like he had another podium spot but he couldn't hold off Sexton (despite putting up a fight). Then he crashed on his own and lost 2 spots.
7 51 Justin Barcia Barcia started 8th, passed Ferrandis early on, and later on passed Plessinger. He was right behind Anderson at the end though after Anderson crashed.
8 14 Dylan Ferrandis Nice to have Ferrandis back racing after hurting his shoulder a week ago. He had a good start near the top 5 but lost a couple spots. He was able to pass Plessinger with two laps left.
9 7 Aaron Plessinger Plessinger holeshot and led for the first lap! He got shuffled back to 4th, but was holding strong there for the first half... After that was no good: he majorly lost the pace, got passed by Stewart, Barcia, Sexton, and Ferrandis; very disappointing.
10 46 Justin Hill Mid-pack start, passed McElrath, and then rode it in for a top 10.
11 45 Colt Nichols Mid-pack start, passed McElrath, and was catching Hill at the end; best race of the year for him... he keeps improving.
12 12 Shane McElrath Top 10 start but he simply didn't have the pace to do much with it. He got passed by Hill and Nichols and was nowhere close to them at the end.
13 17 Joey Savatgy A day Savatgy would rather forget... nasty crash in practice and is lucky to just be okay after that. He was in 9th to start the race, but crashed and dropped all the way back to 21st. It was a good ride after that to move up to this spot.
14 49 Mitchell Oldenburg Oldenburg started 13th and stayed there for a while before a small crash. He was riding around by himself after that.
15 77 Jerry Robin Back in the main event for Robin! He started 14th and kinda stayed there. Good finish for him to stay ahead of the guys behind him (Harrison, Chisholm, etc.).... he had a comforable gap on all of the by the end.
16 86 Mitchell Harrison Harrison was shuffled back at bit at the beginning but then found his flow. He passed Chisholm at the halfway mark and helf him off for the rest of the race.
17 11 Kyle Chisholm 19th place start, passed Moranz, but later got passed by Harrison. He pushed Harrison all the way to the end though; was 2-3 seconds behind for the last few laps.
18 146 Kevin Moranz Moranz got passed by Chisholm near the beginning and lost the pace. However, he picked it back up and was catching the guys in front of him near the end.
19 43 Grant Harlan First main event of the year for Harlan! He got a 20th place start and got pretty close to Moranz at one point, but then lost the pace around halfway and later crashed back to last. He worked hard to catch back up and gain a couple spots on Starling and Rodriguez after that.
20 72 Anthony Rodriguez Rodriguez came around dead last after a crash on the first lap. He put down a couple fast laps (he was faster than the 4 guys in front of him), passed Starling, but then slowed down towards the end and got passed by Harlan.
21 122 Justin Starling Starling started near the back and was way off the pace. He'll be happy just to make the main. He got called out by Roczen during the post-race press conference as being a guy that's always really hard/annoying to lap... so that's not good.
22 57 Benny Bloss A day Bloss would rather forget... nasty crash in practice and is lucky to just be okay after that. He was in 14th right behind his teammate Oldenburg, but then crashed out... not sure if he's still okay or not. Bloss continues having ups and downs.
