Round 10 of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship was this past weekend at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, AL. Here is our breakdown of the final results.

450

1 (1-1-2) #4 Chase Sexton Fastest in Race 1 by almost a full-second with a patient ride to get up into 1st. A better start in Race 2 and was into the lead quickly (also was the fastest). He put himself exactly where he needed to be in Race 3 with a holeshot, ceded the position to Webb (he didn't need it for the overall), and cruised it in for the overall victory. A much better version of Sexton than we've seen in the past month. He finally got another win!
2 (3-2-3) #27 Malcolm Stewart Passed Roczen and came through the pack to get a 3rd in Race 1. He was able to match Sexton's pace in Race 2, but got a worse start and took a bit too long to get into 2nd. He got around Roczen once again in Race 3 to secure the 2nd overall. Great night for Stewart.
3 (2-3-5) #7 Aaron Plessinger Plessinger holeshot and led the majority of Race 1 before eventually getting passed by Sexton. He holeshot again in Race 2, but was a bit off the pace and was passed by Sexton and Stewart. He was in a position to get 2nd overall in Race 3: he started ahead of Stewart but got passed. Regardless, a good return to the podium for AP.
4 (7-4-1) #2 Cooper Webb Webb got a decent start but crashed on the first lap of Race 1 and could only work his way back to 7th. He started in the top 5 in Race 2, but couldn't race forward: was behind Stewart to start and got gapped. He turned things around in Race 3... good start, passed Sexton, and won. Alas, it was too late to make much of a difference in the overall; he'll be disappointed with the loss of valuable championship points tonight.
5 (4-6-4) #94 Ken Roczen Roczen is riding with an injured shoulder so his usual flashes of speed were missing tonight. He started near top 5 all 3 races but was a bit off the pace and couldn't make any forward progress. The consistent starts paid off though and he will salvage a top 5.
6 (6-7-6) #32 Justin Cooper Cooper was just a bit off the pace all night... couple that with so-so starts and he couldn't really do much in any of the races. Disappointing after a great Triple Crown in Arlington.
7 (5-8-12) #21 Jason Anderson Anderson crashed in all 3 races but somehow still ended up 7th Overall. He was in the top 5 in Races 1 and 2 before being taken down by Sexton and Webb respectively, and then he crashed at the start of Race 3 and had a good ride to make it up to 12th. Not a great night results-wise, but at least he was riding in the top 5 for a bit?
8 (8-12-9) #12 Shane McElrath McElrath's season best finish! He got a great top 3 start in Race but shuffled back. In the other two races he started around 10th and finished around there. In Race 2, he actually crashed back to 19th on Lap 2 and had a good ride to come back to 12th.
9 (18-5-7) #51 Justin Barcia Barcia crashed to dead last in Race 1 and that essentially ruined his chances at a good overall finish. The other two races were pretty uneventful... didn't get passed and made no passes in Race 2, and then in Race 3 only got passed by Justin Cooper.
10 (10-10-11) #57 Benny Bloss Bloss had a good top 10 in Races 1 and 2 (he started near the top 10 and stayed there). He started in 10th as well in Race 3, but got passed by Ferrandis. Season best finish for him!
11 (17-9-8) #46 Justin Hill Hill got things off to bad start with a crash in Race 1 where he went all the way to dead last. He made some passed on Bloss and Robin to get 9th in Race 2, and then battled back-and-forth with McElrath for a while in Race 3 before eventually solidifying the spot.
12 (11-15-13) #28 Christian Craig Craig's first race of the season! Nothing flashy for him tonight, but he put down some decent laps and was consisent-enough. He got passed and gapped by Bloss in Race 1, was riding in 12th in race 2 before he crashed back to 15th, and then rode around by himself for most of Race 3. Welcome back!
13 (9-22-10) #14 Dylan Ferrandis Solid 9th place start and 9th place finish to start the night for Ferrandis, but things got ruined with a DNF in Race 2 whilst riding in 9th. Luckily everything was fine and he was able to come back with a top 10 in Race 3 after a bad gate pick and bad start. Should have been a much better finish for him... oh well.
14 (16-11-14) #49 Mitchell Oldenburg Oldenburg was in 11th before crashing back to 17th in Race 1. He rebounded with a mid-pack start and 11th in Race 2, but then had a disappointing 17th place start in Race 3 and could only muster a 14th. Worst finish since Detroit for him.
15 (12-13-19) #77 Jerry Robin Robin straight up caught and passed Nichols in Race 1... good for him! He got shuffled back a bit in Race 2 but still a good finish. In Race 3 he was just off the pace and got dropped quite a bit... overall a good night for him though!
16 (14-14-17) #11 Kyle Chisholm Consistent night for Chisholm in all 2 races. Drama-free Race 1, passed Harlan in Race 2, passed Harland and Robin in Race 3. Nothing special, but nothing bad!
17 (15-16-18) #43 Grant Harlan First main event since Arlington for him (I guess he likes Triple Crowns?). He rode behind Chisholm for all of Race 1, uneventful Race 2, and then had a good start in Race 3 in 12th but was shuffled back.
18 (13-21-16) #45 Colt Nichols No good for Nichols... he was straight up passed by Robin in Race 1. In Race 2 he crashed and then couldn't get around Starling. A bit better in Race 3 making passes on Chisholm, Robin, and Harlan... but for this guy that should be a given.
19 (21-17-15) #86 Mitchell Harrison Up and down night for Harrison. He crashed in Race 1 but put down some fast laps and had worked his way up to 18th before crashing again and DNFing. He had a boring Race 2, but then had a good start and finish in Race 3.
20 (19-18-20) #711 Tristan Lane First main since Tampa for him! Not much to note for him in the races... he was near the back in all 3.
21 (20-19-22) #146 Kevin Moranz Moranz got bad starts in all 3 and then DNFed the last one so not a great night. He should have beaten Lane.
22 (22-20-21) #122 Justin Starling Starling DNFed Race 1 after a crash and then was riding in the back for the rest of the night.

250

1 (3-3-2) #41 Nate Thrasher Thrasher wins! He was the most consistent guy tonight and it paid off. Not the fastest... not a single race win, but good starts and drama-free rides.
2 (1-2-5) #24 RJ Hampshire Easy Race 1 win for him. He didn't have anything for Hammaker in Race 2 but overall-wise was well set-up. Unfortunately he crashed to start Race 3, but had a great come-back ride and still salvaged 2nd overall.
3 (2-5-3) #1 Tom Vialle Consistent night for Vialle. Good starts, but it all came down to his so-so Race 2... he had an opportunity to move through the pack and better his overall position but couldn't get around Mumford. He also could have finished 2nd overall if he was able to pass Thrasher in Race 3, but couldn't manage that either. Good night, but not great.
4 (9-1-1) #56 Seth Hammaker An unfortunate crash in Race 1 will cost him the overall... it could have been back-to-back wins for Hammaker! Regardless, the wins in Races 2 and 3 will prove his speed; no one could beat him tonight.
5 (8-7-4) #34 Daxton Bennick Bennick worked his way through the field nicely in Races 1 and 3 after mediocre starts. He turned it around with a good start in the final race and showed some speed (faster laps than Thrasher and Vialle in front of him).
6 (4-6-10) #92 Maximus Vohland In Race 1, Vohland finally got a good start, but was a tad off the pace and got gapped quite a bit by the top 3 guys. Same story in Race 2... and then in Race 3 got a horrible start, worked his way up to 9th, but then got passed by Forkner.
7 (6-10-6) #10 Chance Hymas Hymas was 5th for most of Race 1 before getting caught and passed by Mumford. He was in 7th before crashing back in Race 2. Race 3 was riding behind Park and Munoz before eventually getting around both of them near the end. Not a good night for him overall... just didn't have the pace.
8 (10-9-7) #59 Cullin Park Consistently good night for Park. Decent starts and good pace in all 3 races.
9 (7-11-8) #87 Hardy Munoz Munoz keeps getting better and better: this is his career best! Great start in 6th in Race 1 and put down some fast laps to get 7th. Race 2 wasn't so great... after an amazing start in 3rd he quickly shuffled back outside the top 10. He rebounded well in Race 3 with a 4th place start, holding off Park and Hymas for most of the race before eventually giving up those spots and falling back to 8th. Overall: awesome night for him!
10 (11-8-9) #83 Austin Forkner Crash in Race 1 on the opening lap, but put down some good laps and came back to 11th. Midpack start in Race 2 and could only work his way up to 8th. He started back in 14th in Race 3, and crawled his way through the pack with a late race pass on Vohland to get 9th. A top 10 overall is not bad... but Forkner is probably wishing for more.
11 (5-4-21) #60 Carson Mumford Mumford showed some real speed tonight and should have been a top 5 (and career-best) overall. He raced up from a mid-pack start in Race 1 and even passed Hymas. He got a much better start in Race 2 and was in 3rd for most of the race before eventually getting passed by Thrasher. Unfortunately he crashed on the opening lap in Race 3 and DNFed... hopefully he's okay because this is by far the best we've seen of Mumford.
12 (12-14-11) #55 Henry Miller Miller had to work his way up from a bad start in Race 1. In Race 2, he was battling with Linville and Locurcio for most of the race; he was up in 13th at one point before ceding one spot to Locurcio. He had a 9th place start in Race 3 but then lost a couple spots.
13 (15-12-12) #468 Michael Hicks Hicks was near the back in Race 1 but then did a good job working his way through the pack. He had a good 10th place start in Race 2, quickly lost a couple spots, but stayed drama-free for the rest of the race. In Race 3 he worked his way nicely through the pack once again. Season best finish for him!
14 (16-13-14) #74 Lorenzo Locurcio Locurcio had a so-so Race 1: mid-pack start and was shuffled back a bit after some slow opening laps. He had an impressive Race 2 passing Miller and finishing 13th. Race 3 was looking even better with an 8th place start and running in 10th before crashing back.
15 (14-18-13) #195 Lance Kobusch Kobusch had a mid-pack start in Race 1 but couldn't hold the pace and was shuffled back. He crashed in Race 2 and was back in 20th. He had a mid-pack start in Race 3 to cap-off a decent night. This was his first main since the opening round in Tampa.
16 (13-17-18) #125 Luke Neese This was Neese's first main since the opening round in Tampa. He had a 7th place start in Race 1 and was slowly shuffled back. He couldn't much after that... bad starts and didn't have the pace to race forward at all.
17 (18-16-15) #188 Hamden Hudson Hudson hasn't even made the night show in a couple races this year. He barely made it into the top 40 to get a chance in the LCQ, but miraculously qualified into the races! Congrats! He got a 10th place start in Race 1 and was shuffled back, but had some good races after that beating some decent guys (Kobusch, Neese, Romano).
18 (19-19-16) #142 Crockett Myers First main event of the year for Myers. Didn't have the speed in any of the races but it's a milestone for him.
19 (17-21-17) #39 Nicholas Romano Romano is dealing with a knee injury and it shows... tough for him to be out there. Bad starts and DNFed Race 2.
20 (20-15-20) #75 Gage Linville Rough night for Linville. A couple crashes in Race 1, was okay in Race 2, but then crashed out at the beginning in Race 3.
21 (22-20-19) #129 Lane Shaw First main since 2023 for Shaw! He didn't have anything in the races, but good to be out there.
22 (21-22-22) #89 Trevor Colip Colip had a top 10 start in Race 1 and was looking good in 11th before crashing out. He didn't start the other two races.
