Jett Lawrence

Win, win win... that's all this guy is expected to do. Number 1 in SX and SMX, he's number 1 in everyone's hearts right? Not so fast... It seems he has taken a notice to the dislike from American fans. Regardless, he's the best rider in the world right now. His goal should be to win all 17 SX and another perfect MX season... he's that good. Best of luck to his competitors!

Cooper Webb

Webb is entering the twilight of his career... or at least it feels that way. Regardless, he has somehow been a presence in this 450 class ever since his transition to KTM in 2019. A feisty arrogant attitude will go a long way evidently... and for Webb that means multiple race wins and a constant title threat. He somehow always gets counted out of championships (from the media) before it gets started, but yet is one of the guys there at the end. Success for him in 2025 is winning another SX championship.

Eli Tomac

Tomac is back! But for his last full-time SMX season. We've witnessed the glory days of Tomac... he was the rider that truly transitioned us between Villopoto and the new era. Somehow he only has one SX championship... his skill on the bike warrants more but 2025 will be tough to claim that last title. I'm expecting a better Tomac this year than last but the only question remains: is he good enough to best Jett? We need to see the best of Beast Mode in order to do so; I'm feeling we will see Beast mode at times and a truly deserving champion riding out to his retirement at other times.

Aaron Plessinger

AP got his first win in 2024. But did any of us expect that? He definitely made improvements... and no doubt showed he's capable of being a top 5 guy; but that win was in muddy conditions and he never came close to another win after that. A good 2025 for AP is running in the top 5 again.

Kyle Chisholm

Another year for Chisholm... and this officially will be his last full-time year. He's seen it all... the glory days of Reed vs JS7, Villo vs Dunge, and now the great Jett. Chisholm's time has come... now he's just in it for the memories (money?). Every main event for Chiz will be worth cheering him on.

Dylan Ferrandis

Been a tough couple of years for Ferrandis. After winning his outdoor title, things have mostly been bleak. He's super fast and no doubt can be a podium contender every weekend... he just hasn't found that consistency. Can year 2 on the Honda provide that for him? He's going to be racing against the odds... more likely than not he's on his way out.

Jason Anderson

It feels like eons since his 2018 title. Jason no doubt has the potential but it's a question mark as to if we ever see it out on the track. His speed tends to ebb and flow... with 2025 being a contract year perhaps we will see the best of him again. Or perhaps we see more Daddy Anderson.

Joey Savatgy

Is 2025 finally Joey time? Savatgy has never fully put it together... so much potential in the 250 class only to throw it away. He's never proven to be a closer.... but as he ages, maybe the consistency will come? He's had a rough go of it ever since moving up to 450s; if he can stay healthy all year this can be a real building block for him. Don't be surprised if you see a good start and top 10 finishes (maybe even top 5 on a good night!).

Malcolm Stewart

Malcom has soooo much potential... we've been waiting for it so shine through. In the past he has struggled with injuries; after a full year injury free, can he finally shine through? 2025 will be telling for Stewart... it's do or bust for him.

Justin Cooper

2024 was silently a stellar rookie season for him. How much better do we expect him to get? If Cooper gets holeshots he stays in the top 5. How many holeshots can he get? He's a quiet guy but sure can ride a motorcycle. #LongIslandStrong

Colt Nichols

A new year a new Colt. The Beta didn't work out... will the Suzuki? Nichol's 250SX championship seems long ago at this point, but he no doubt has the speed to run in the top 10. He needs to channel his inner glory days!

Justin Barcia

Barcia always makes things exciting... but it seems his top-end potential is starting to decrease. He's no longer the A1 surprise winner, and with that his winning ways have waned. 2025 is an opportunity to rebuild himself, but more realistically we've seen the best of him... it's been a good career.

Jorge Prado

The reigning 2x MXGP champ! So exciting to have him racing state-side... SX will be a learning curve but the goal is simply to learn and stay healthy for MX. This guy can be one of the best outdoors.

Ken Roczen

The best rider to never win a SX title? It wouldn't be a surprise to see him win a race once again, but he's never shown the consistency to be in it for the long run. Enjoy the ride Kenny!

Hunter Lawrence

Hunter could sneakily be the biggest competitor to his brother Jett. He no doubt was the most improved in 2024. He will need to show more speed than ever and prove to consistently beat others (Webb, Sexton, Eli).

Chase Sexton

Chase is Jett's biggest threat. He has the speed and tenacity to beat him... but will the KTM be figured out finally? Honda woes were front end washes... KTM woes were plain struggles... If the bike is good, he will be good.
